The Innit Platform

Innit helps users shop for the right ingredients and cook delicious meals any night of the week.

When I started at Innit, the company was a B2C company with two consumer apps. We pivoted to become a B2B company always with the mission to connect the disjointed food system. Our products included a nutrition scoring system adopted by Carrefour and Intermarche grocery stores in France, a shoppable recipe widget implemented on Central Market’s website, and the application of all our API’s in health apps such as the one we created for Roche.

Innit partnered with Uncle Ben’s and Google Lens to create the first lens experience with food products. Lensing a Seeds of Change product triggered a custom page containing nutrition information, other suggest products, and brand information. Users could further customize the experience by going through an onboarding experience.

Innit created widgets that could be added to grocery retailer websites with only a single line of code. Widgets included meal planning, shoppable recipe pages, favorites, and meal builder.
